    Main Goal - Build Muscle Workout Type - Upper/Lower 4 Day Split Training Level - Intermediate Program Duration - 12-16 Weeks Days Per Week - 4 Time Per Workout - 45-60 minutes Equipment Required - Barbell, Dumbbells, Machines Designed for the intermediate lifer looking for a blend of power and hypertrophy training. This higher intensity Upper/Lower program is designed to train each body part 2 times a week. A 12-16 week, 4 day per week plan consisting of 4 unique workouts with each workout completed once each week. However this plan can be run 3 to 5 days per week as written by just adjusting the training days per week. Cardio can and should be completed in addition to this workout. Optionally after your workout, on rest days, or both, depending on your available time and goals. This 12 week plan consists of 6 unique workouts with each workout completed once every 2 weeks. So 6 times through the program over a 12 week period. Hitting each body part 3 times a week. It is built using a wide range of exercises to expose the novice lifter to a variety of movements. All that said, there isn't a reason you couldn't run this 14, or 16 weeks. Provided you're not feeling run down and fatigued at the 12 week point. Or maybe run this plan 4 times a week if you had the drive and recovery ability. However I believe the novice lifter would be better served by adding in a couple days of cardio per week to compilment this program. Rather than pushing it to 4 days a week.
